I’ve had both my hips replaced by Mr Cox at New Hall Hospital in Salisbury. The first in June 2019, the second in March 2020. My time in hospital was 4 days on each occasion. I was very well cared for and had uncomplicated recoveries with no post operative issues. I stuck to my physio therapy regime, doing exactly what was required. I was amazed at how quickly my life has returned to normal. From initial consultation to surgery after care, I was kept fully aware of all processes/procedures by Mr Cox and his team. Mr Cox was easy to talk to, a very friendly and approachable medical professional, that was a great comfort. I thank him for all he has done for me to relieve the pain and lack of mobility in my hips. I feel like a new man! I have every confidence in recommending his services to you all.

I had both hips replaced by Mr Cox, the first replacement in 2009 and the second 2015. After both op's I was able to return to work within 3 months and continue to compete in long distance running events (30 mile) and Mountain Biking. My first hip replacement is a metal on metal implant, as a result I have to have a review with Mr Cox every year, to which I look forward to. Mr Cox is very professional, friendly and always listens and answers my questions. I am very grateful to Mr Cox for his expertise and for returning me to full mobility. I highly recommend him.

I had an open shoulder operation in Sept 19. Prior to the operation Mr Cox discussed and advised on the various options and indeed suggested we tried a less invasive procedure to see if we could avoid the full blown surgery. Operated at New Hall which is very good. I have had physio at New Hall and 6 months on have been discharged. Great aftercare from both Mr Cox and the physio team
